Epstein, Marc

Marc is a Senior Insect Biosystematist at the California Department of Food and Agriculture for Lepidoptera. He works at the Plant Pest Diagnostics Center in South Sacramento where the mission is to protect California agriculture from plant pests. He is also a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History, where he was a postdoc and on staff for 15 years. Along with Mark Nelson, Marc spearheads the Roxborough State Park Butterfly Project in his home state of Colorado.
