March 2026: The North American Butterfly Monitoring Network is delighted to welcome the New Hampshire Butterfly Monitoring Network as a new partner program. The NHBMN is collaborative, statewide effort that engages volunteers in counting and identifying butterflies using modified Pollard Walks, NABA count circles, and opportunistic sightings. The network is led by New Hampshire Fish and Game and UNH Cooperative Extension, in collaboration with local education centers, land trusts, and conservation partners. This will be the first statewide Pollard program in New England and will generate invaluable data on that regions insect populations.
